A tall shrub with a compact, rounded habit, reaching 2-3 m in height. The biggest attraction of the plant is the small, lobed leaves that change color several times during the growing season. The leaves are initially dark pink, later orange-red in spring, yellow in summer and orange at the ends of the shoots. In autumn, they turn orange-red, and the veining remains yellow. The variety is recommended for home gardens, for planting alone or as a strong color element in compositions with other shrubs and perennials. An additional advantage of cutleaf maples is their high resistance to drought, unfavorable soil conditions and air pollution.
