A Polish variety of common sedge distinguished by attractive, two-colored leaves resembling balayage. It grows up to 0.7-1.0 m in height. In the spring, from April to May, it forms dark, almost black inflorescences. The leaves are long, narrow and hang beautifully. A variety with full frost resistance and low cultivation requirements. It prefers moderately moist and permeable soil. Thanks to its decorative values, this perennial will work well in both garden compositions and urban plantings, as well as in potted compositions on balconies and terraces.
