Hydrangea paniculata GRAFFITI
Dwarf shrub growing up to 1 m high and similar in width. Straight, stiff stems. Dark green, ovate leaves, roughly hairy on both sides. Sterile flowers, gathered in cone-shaped inflorescences on the tops of shoots. Inflorescences grow up to 25-30 cm long, initially lime-green, snow-white in full bloom with aquamarine tips. Towards the end of summer they become pink with green and white streaks. Almost all the annual shoots are crowned with inflorescences. Flowering begins in July and lasts until September. After blossoming, the flowers dry up while remaining an ornament of the bush through autumn and winter.
The plant is recommended for cultivation on moderately fertile, moist and permeable, slightly acidic soils, in sunny or semi-shaded positions. Fully resistant to frost (zone 5), healthy.
Recommended for planting in groups in home gardens and estate greenery and for growing in containers. Cut flowers are perfect for bouquets and drying.
