Hydrangea paniculata HERCULES
A large shrub growing up to 1.5 m in height and similar in width. Stiff, straight stems. Dark green, ovate leaves, roughly hairy on both sides. Sterile flowers, collected in cone-shaped inflorescences on the tops of shoots. Very large inflorescences, growing up to 40 cm in length, lime-green, snow-white in full bloom with willow green tips, turning pink towards the end of summer. Flowering begins in July and lasts until September. After blossoming the flowers dry up while remaining an ornament of the bush through the autumn and winter.
Non-demanding shrub recommended for growing in slightly acidic moderately fertile soil, moist and permeable, in sunny or semi-shady locations. Fully resistant to frost (zone 5), resistant to diseases and pests.
Recommended for planting singly and in groups in home gardens and estate greenery and for growing in large containers. Cut flowers are perfect for bouquets and drying.
