Echinacea ‘Tweety’ PBR
A low variety of Echinacea, growing only up to 20 cm in height and 15 cm in width, with erect, stiff shoots and large, yellow ligulate flowers. This perennial produces a rosette of dark green, lanceolate and rough to the touch leaves in the spring, from which, at the beginning of summer, inflorescence shoots grow, crowned with inflorescences in the form of an anthodium. The anthodium have a characteristic convex flower bottom with orange, club-shaped stalks, between which small and inconspicuous tubular flowers grow with yellow stamens and aquamarine pistils. On the edges of the inflorescences there are magnificent golden ligulate flowers. The perennial blooms from July to September, attracts butterflies and other pollinating insects. Requires sunny locations, moderately moist soil, well-drained. It is fully resistant to frost (zone 4). Thanks to its compact form, this variety is perfect for growing in pots and boxes placed on balconies and terraces, as well as in flower beds in home gardens, estate gardens and public green areas.
