Chaenomeles speciosa 'Orange Storm'
The deciduous shrub with orange-red, double flowers. It grows up to 1.5-2 m in height and reaches similar size in width. The leaves are dark green, elliptic; the flowers are big, double, with intense orange-red colour. The shrub profusely blooms at the end of April and in May after opening first leaves; they re-bloom in the early summer. It does not produce fruits, it is frost resistant (5a zone).
