Cornus alba NIGHTFALL

Variety obtained in the Netherlands that is quite unique due to the very dark autumn color of the leaves. Upright shrub, grows up to 2 m high, decorative all year round. Attracts attention in the winter by its red shoots.  Purple young growths in the spring. In the summer, the leaves are dark green and light gray underneath, which creates a sparkling effect when the wind blows. However, the most interesting feature is the autumn color of the leaves - dark purple, almost black. The advantages of the plant include full frost resistance and low cultivation requirements. The variety is recommended for planting in groups, also in the form of hedges, in urban greenery, housing estates and home gardens, and for creating expressive, colorful compositions.
