Rhododendron ‘Praděd

A variety from the group of Large-flowered Rhododendrons. Light yellow flowers with a salmon shade and a few dark yellow spots, funnel-shaped, fully developed, with a diameter of 8 cm, gathered at the tops of shoots in spherical inflorescences. It blooms early, from late April to mid-May. Evergreen, leathery, dark green, glossy leaves. During the winter, the flower buds are covered with tomentum. After ten years of cultivation, the bushes reach 1.2 m in height and 1.4 m in width. Frost-resistant variety. It prefers semi-shaded positions, acidic soils rich in humus.
