Pinus parviflora 'Beran'
The dwarf coniferous shrub with hemispherical, compact habit and very slow pace of growth, after 10 years of cultivation it reaches 50 cm in diameter. It has numerous, branched shoots which are thickly covered with needles. The needles are short, about 3 cm in length, 5 needles gathered in a bunch. The young needles are vividly bright green with visible, white stripes beneath, the old needles get darker and turn to silver shade. The variety is frost resistant (5b zone).
