Sambucus nigra LACED UP

The first variety of this species with a very narrow, columnar and compact shape and dark purple, deeply cut leaves. Additional decorative values of the plant are its light pink flowers and shiny black fruits. This British variety combines the most interesting features of two older varieties of elderberry: BLACK LACE and BLACK TOWER. Like all elderberries, it is undemanding in terms of cultivation and resistant to frost. It grows best in fertile and relatively moist soils and in sunny positions. The plant is recommended for use in home gardens, as a strong color accent, and on terraces and balconies - for planting in pots.
