Heliopsis helianthoides SOLAR FLARE

A compact, low-growing cultivar distinguished by its attractive variegated foliage and yellow flowers. It reaches approximately 35 cm in height. The stems are stiff and well branched. The leaves are ovate-lanceolate with pointed tips, featuring a striking creamy coloration highlighted by prominent green veins that create a marbled pattern. The flower heads are golden yellow, composed of short tubular florets in the centre and long ray florets arranged around the margins. Flowering extends from July to September. This perennial is easy to grow, hardy, and undemanding in cultivation. It performs best in fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade.
