Hydrangea paniculata LIVING INFINITY®

A compact and relatively low-growing cultivar reaching approximately 1 m in height and a similar width, distinguished by the changing colour of its flowers throughout the flowering season and its high value for pollinating insects. The shoots are stiff and upright. The leaves are ovate, dark green, and rough-hairy on both surfaces. Flowering begins in July and can continue for up to 150 days, with numerous panicle-shaped inflorescences produced at the tips of the shoots. The inflorescences are composed predominantly of fertile, pollen-rich flowers, which make the shrubs especially attractive to bees and other pollinating insects during the early stages of flowering, along with sterile flowers. The flowers are initially white, gradually turning pink during the summer and deep red in autumn. The cultivar is recommended for cultivation in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soils in sunny locations. It is fully hardy and well suited for planting in groups in home gardens and residential landscapes, as well as for growing in containers placed on balconies and patios. Hardiness Zone: 4 (−34 to −29°C).
