A compact shrub reaching about 1.2 m in height, with dark green leaves and abundant flowering. Dark pink buds open from May to July into strongly fragrant, light pink flowers with a darker center. The flowering period lasts around six weeks. The cultivar performs best in sunny or semi‑shaded locations, in fertile, well‑drained soil. Once established, it tolerates periodic drought, air pollution and coastal conditions. Recommended for small gardens, urban greenery, borders, scented gardens and containers. Winner of the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2025 competition. Hardiness zone: 5b (‑26/‑23 °C).
