Rubus idaeus RASPBEARY

A distinctive new raspberry cultivar characterized by vigorous growth and thick, sturdy canes that do not suffer winter dieback, which has led to it being referred to as a tree raspberry. The plant has an upright, erect growth habit and produces fruit on second-year canes. The cultivar is tolerant of heat and drought, distinguished by its early fruit ripening and extended harvest period. It blooms in late April to early May with white flowers, and the first fruits ripen in early June. The plant is highly productive, yielding abundant, aromatic berries measuring 2–3 cm in length. The fruit is flavorful, juicy, and bright red in color. The fruiting season may continue from June through September. The cultivar is fully winter hardy, tolerating temperatures down to –25°C. Thanks to its compact structure and high productivity, it is ideally suited for small gardens and is also an attractive cultivar for sale through garden centers and nurseries.
