Ajuga reptans 'Gold Chang' PBR

Low growing, ground cover perennial, and unparalleled for this species, green-yellow leaves and attractive pink flowers. During flowering, it grows up to 15 cm in height. It creates terrestrial runners, helping it to expand rapidly. The leaves are small, obovate, narrower at the base and rounded at the top, gathered in a rosette. The leaf laminae are slightly wrinkled. Young leaves are light green with yellow discolorations, older leaves lime colored. The plants are decorated with pink flowers gathered in slender, spiky inflorescences. The flowers develop from the end of April to the end of May.

Ajuga reptans prefers partial shady and shady locations, constantly moist soil, preferably humus, but also tolerates less fertile substrates. Fast growing, it forms a nice, compact leaf rug. The plant is frost resistant (zone 4), semi-evergreen. Part of the leaves can freeze in snowless winters, but in the spring new ones soon appear.

A perfect ground cover for planting in groups under crowns of trees and shrubs and in perennial beds. It forms distinct spots that illuminate plant compositions. Suitable for planting in rock gardens, growing in containers and for use with seasonal plants.

Agastache 'Morello'

Agastache 'Morello' PBR

A bushy, aromatic perennial that forms a mass of red-purple flowers. It grows up to 70 cm in height. The stems are straight, weakly branched. Triangular, dark green leaves with crenate or serrate margins and covered with fine hairs and glands. Spiky inflorescences grow on the tops of stems and leaf angles in June. The reddish purple flowers, small and double-lipped, are collected in multifloral whorls. At the stem tops the flowers are arranged very densely, in the lower parts they are arranged more loosely. The plant blooms until the end of the summer, attracting numerous pollinating insects when flowering.

Agastache prefers fertile, permeable, moderately moist and slightly acidic soils. Requires sunny locations. Healthy variety, frost resistant (zone 6).

Perennial recommended for planting individually in flower beds, in groups and for growing in containers placed on sunny balconies and terraces.

The cultivar selected by Janet Egger in 2016, released to the market by Terra Nova Nurseries, Inc.

Acer platanoides 'Warmia'

Tree characterized by exceptionally narrow, columnar habit. The crown is slimmer than in the 'Columnare' cultivar. Growth rate typical of the species, after ten years of cultivation the tree reaches 7-8 m in height. It creates a strong lead with short, raised side branches. Palmate leaves on long, thin petioles, with pronounced 5-7 flaps and several sharp pointed teeth, dark green, yellow in autumn.

Tree with no special requirements, tolerates most soils with the exception of extremely dry soils or wetlands. Prefers sunny to semi-shady locations.  Resistant to frost (zone 4), tolerates difficult urban conditions.

The variety is recommended for gardens with limited space, where there is no space for large trees, for estate greenery and for avenue and street trees.

Polish cultivar selected from Norway maple seedlings by Lucjan Gursztyn, released to the market in 2019 by Szkółka Gursztyn.

Abies koreana 'Forest Child'

Slow-growing, dwarf fir with a flattish round shape, growing up to 60 cm in diameter in ten years. Numerous, short shoots, strongly branched. Evergreen needles, short and stiff, arranged radially around the shoots. The needles are dark green from the top, slightly shiny, on the bottom there are two wide strands of a silvery wax coating. Spherical top buds, covered with light brown-colored scales. The variety is offered in a spectacular miniature tree form, grafted at different heights.

The plant prefers fertile, moderately moist, permeable soils with a slightly acidic pH. Requires a sunny position, but also tolerates semi-shaded positions. Frost resistant variety (zone 5b).

Recommended mainly for home gardens. It looks best planted in beds, moors, rock gardens and in oriental style compositions. It is suited for growing in containers placed on balconies and terraces.

Polish cultivar selected by Jan Nowaczyk, perhaps a hybrid, released to the market in 2017 by Szkółka Nowaczyk.

The deciduous shrub which forms big, extremely stunning bracts. It grows up to 3-5 m in height. The leaves are elliptic, dark green, in autumn they change colours beautifully. The flowers appear at the turn of May and June, they are gathered in small, capitulum inflorescences surrounded by creamy-white bracts with 10-15 cm in diameter. Ball-shaped, red fruits ripening in September. Good resistance to frost (6b zone).

The climbing vines are with intriguing, always double, purple-blue flowers with yellow-green endings of sepals. It reaches 2-2.5 m in height, climbs with the help of leaves and petioles. The flowers are medium-size, very decorative, variable in shape, appear in June. Later, the plant blooms until September. The variety is frost resistant (zone 6a), it awarded a silver medal on Plantarium fairs in 2016.

They bloom from the end of May until October, after blooming they form decorative, silky multiple fruits. The Polish variety is frost resistant (5a zone).

The leaves are dark green, elliptic; the flowers are big, double, with intense orange-red colour. The shrub profusely blooms at the end of April and in May after opening first leaves; they re-bloom in the early summer. It does not produce fruits, it is frost resistant (5a zone).
