Thuja plicata ‘Golden Whipcord’

A variety distinguished by intensely yellow, threadlike shoots and a characteristic, weeping habit. After 10 years, it reaches about 0.5 m in width and height. Grafted on a trunk, it forms a decorative tree with an original, umbrella-shaped, yellow crown all year round. Stringy shoots and twigs grow from the center of the bush, overhanging and cascading down. The variety is resistant to sunburn, can easily grow in sunny places, frost resistant. An easy-to-grow shrub, it grows well on humus, well-drained soils. Recommended for planting in home gardens, and rock gardens. Thanks to its golden color, it looks great in decorative pots placed on terraces and balconies.

A Polish variety selected as a mutation of 'Smaragd'. It is characterized by a pyramidal and very dense habit, juicy green color of scales covering twigs, which is durable in winter (twigs do not turn red) and slow growth rate. It grows 50% slower compared to the 'Smaragd' variety. It is perfect for low rows, hedges and for container and solitary plantings. It grows best on fertile soils, in sunny positions. Fully frost resistant.

Taxus baccata ‘Kazimierz Nowak‘ PBR

A Polish variety with a columnar habit and dark green needles. At a young age, the bushes are characterized by a narrow habit, but they grow wide over time. The arched needles are quite long and dark green. As a male taxon, it does not set seeds. The bush is naturally dense and compact. This variety breaks stereotypes about the slow growth of yews. Rather fast growth, growing up to 40 cm per year at the age of 5-6 years. A 25-year-old specimen reached 6 m in height. The growth rate is clearly faster than other columnar varieties, which is the main distinguishing feature of this variety. Perfect for planting in the form of hedges and rows, both formed and uncut, natural. This variety, especially for impatient people, quickly results in a magnificent hedge. Shrubs look good planted in clusters of 3-5 plants. A frost-resistant variety, resistant to air pollution, tolerates drought in old age.

Taxus ×media ‘Baby’ PBR

A Polish variety with fine needles and a compact habit, suitable for low borders and medium-height hedges. During growth, it thickens spontaneously, forming compact bushes. It is distinguished from other varieties by shorter internodes and much smaller needles. The dark green needles are 1- 2 cm long and only 1.5-2 mm wide. The shrub grows relatively quickly and creates compact forms even with minimal pruning. A female variety, sets seeds in fleshy, red arils, eagerly eaten by birds. Plant tolerant of light. Average soil requirements, although it prefers fertile and permeable, moderately moist soils with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. Like all yews, it withstands urban conditions and at the same time cleans air of suspended dust. A fantastic variety for small gardens.

Variety from the Double Play series characterized by brick-red color of young leaves and intense, pink-red color of flowers. Hemispherical shrub with a compact habit, grows up to 90 cm in height. Young leaves and shoots are burgundy, dark red, becoming dark green when fully developed. Intensely red flowers, gathered on the tops of one-year-old shoots in rather large, flat corymb-type inflorescences. It blooms profusely from the turn of spring and summer to early autumn. The stamens are clearly longer than the petals of the corolla, giving the inflorescences a light, fluffy appearance. An easy-to-grow shrub, tolerant of soil type and frost-resistant. The variety is recommended for sunny positions, with a wide range of applications in public greenery and private gardens. Requires heavy pruning in spring.

Rhododendron 'Venus '

A Polish variety of large-flowered azalea with pinkish-yellow flowers gathered on the tops of shoots in large, spherical inflorescences. A characteristic feature of the plant is its compact, spherical habit, slow growth rate, and high resistance to powdery mildew. The shrub grows up to 2 m high, blooms profusely in the second half of May. Flower buds are orange. Upon opening two-colored, pink-yellow with frilled petals on the edges. Seasonal, dark green, healthy leaves. Frost resistance and soil requirements similar to other large-flowered azaleas grown in Poland. The plant is recommended for planting in home gardens, housing estate greenery, heathlands, and in naturalistic compositions.

A variety from the group of Large-flowered Rhododendrons. Light yellow flowers with a salmon shade and a few dark yellow spots, funnel-shaped, fully developed, with a diameter of 8 cm, gathered at the tops of shoots in spherical inflorescences. It blooms early, from late April to mid-May. Evergreen, leathery, dark green, glossy leaves. During the winter, the flower buds are covered with tomentum. After ten years of cultivation, the bushes reach 1.2 m in height and 1.4 m in width. Frost-resistant variety. It prefers semi-shaded positions, acidic soils rich in humus.

Polish, dwarf variety of black pine with a compact, spherical habit. It grows slowly. After ten years of cultivation reaches about 0.6 m in diameter. Creates a perfect sphere by itself, no trimming required. Its needles are short, green and, unlike other varieties of black pine, soft to the touch. Looks good as a standard tree when grafted on a trunk. This variety prefers sunny positions, but also tolerates partial shade, and grows well in most average, well-drained garden soils. It is suitable for growing in pots placed on balconies and terraces, and for planting in home gardens, allotments and rockeries.

A variety with a rounded habit and very dark, almost black foliage, the darkest of the cultivars available on the market. The bush is dense, forms straight shoots covered with dark burgundy bark, and grows up to 1.5-2 m in height. The size of the leaves is similar to that of strong-growing varieties. Light pink flowers develop in May. They are beautifully displayed against the background of dark foliage. Shrub with low cultivation requirements, both at the stage of nursery production and after planting on the target site. High resistance to diseases and pests, full frost resistance and tolerance to soil type and location, give a wide potential for using this new variety in private and urban green areas.

A Polish variety with two-colored, green leaves with cream margins and characteristic, reduced flowers of coral-salmon color with a diameter of 2.5 cm. This is another variety selected by Przemysław Godlewski at the Ogrody o Zielonych Progach Nursery. It owes its name to the location of the nursery. The variety is fully frost resistant. Success in the cultivation of phloxes depends primarily on a properly selected location. These plants prefer fertile, humus and permeable soil with constant moisture. The location for their cultivation should be sunny or semi-shaded, not too hot.
