This Pyracantha grows to about 2 m high and 1 m wide. Plant 'Orange Star' in a fertile, well-drained soils. Not sensitive to Phytophtora ramorum and very hardy. The plant requires locations sheltered from the wind, grows well in permeable soils, in sunny and semi-shaded positions. The variety is recommended for collector gardens, home and oriental gardens.
